DVD's in Thailand
It is over a year now since DVD's were introduced in Thailand but sadly the format has still not taken off here. Warner and Columbia have released a number of titles of Hollywood movies on zone 3 DVD's here, but other studios show no sign of following suit. Meanwhile Rose is the only Thai publisher to have produced and released DVD's with local content, and they are all karaoke DVD's of the kind you see on this page. It is also regretable that prices of DVD's in Thailand remain more expensive than in the US.
For these reasons we are unable to offer more Thai DVD's for sale at a lower price. If you are interested in Warner and Columbia/Tristar DVD's zone 3, with subtitles in Thai and other east Asian languages, we can supply them for $39 (Warner) to $45 (Columbia) each, which we realise is much more expensive than equivalent zone 1 discs.
