All items are sold subject to the following terms and conditions: CD, DVD, VideoCD, VHS video Warranty In the event that a CD, DVD,VHS or VideoCD title purchased from ThaiNetCity is defective, ThaiNetCity will exchange the disc for a copy of the same title, provided the title is still currently available. In the event that the title is no longer available, this warranty is void. The defective item must be returned within one month from the date of purchase. Returning defective item to ThaiNetCity Defective item or items may be returned to ThaiNetCity only after you have communicated with, and obtained authorization from ThaiNetCity to return the item. ThaiNetCity does not undertake to pay for or compensate for any shipping cost you may incur in sending items back to us. Items returned to ThaiNetCity without prior authorization will not be accepted. Returned order must be sent to ThaiNetCity by post only. ThaiNetCity will NOT accept returning items sent to us by couriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL etc. Items sent by courier may be confiscated and/or destroyed by the Thai customs department with no possibility of being returned to sender. Items Not Covered by Warranty 1. Physical damage from shipping, handling, abuse, or operation on defective, incompatible, or maladjusted equipment. 2. Any disc not in pristine condition. Discs or jackets that show excessive wear beyond the normal handling required to detect a defect. 3. Any disc or tape that does not clearly show a video or audio defect. "Did not like" or "poor transfer quality" are not acceptable defects. Items not accepted under the terms of this warranty will be returned, freight collect, to the sender. 4. Disc or video tapes which the buyer is unable to play due to lack of compatible equipment/s. Lost orders (without delivery guarantee) If you feel that your order may have been lost in transit, please email us. We will trace your order and file for recovery or compensation with the responsible shipping service or agency. All shipping is done by registered post and the proof of shipping is retained by us. Registration enables tracing and in the event of loss, some compensation may be possible, unfortunately it does not prevent loss. Also, registration is not insurance, and the full value of the lost goods is unlikely to be recovered. Delivery Guarantee Guaranteed delivery within one month of the date of shipping is offered only when a shipping method which explicitly carries the delivery guarantee is selected. All other shipping is at the customer's risk. In the event of loss or excessive delay of guaranteed orders, please email us. We will file for confirmation of lost order with the post office, and once this is confirmed, the lost order will be reshipped one time only, by registered post. Delivery of the replacement order is NOT guaranteed (we guarantee to ship it, but cannot guarantee that it will arrive). If you have two consecutive orders go missing, there is probably something seriously wrong with your local postal delivery or customs procedure, and you are advised to contact your local mail service. No cash refund is given for lost orders. Shipping guarantee applies only to lost orders, and not to undeliverable orders (see below). Undeliverable or unclaimed shipments If the order cannot be delivered due to incorrect or inadequate delivery address, the order is normally sent back to us. We will resend the order for no charge only if we have made a mistake in addressing the package when transcribing the delivery address from the data you entered in the order form. If the order is undeliverable for any other reason, the customer may have the order reshipped for the normal shipping charges for that order, or the order can be exchanged for store credit to the value of the goods excluding the shipping cost. No cash refund is given. Payment Methods All prices are in US dollars. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, and JCB credit cards using our secure order form, or by fax, telephone, or snail mail. WE ALSO ACCEPT PAYPAL! We will accept pre-payment with Western Union wire transfer for larger orders. You may also send cash, at your own risk. Please include your order list along with your payment. International money orders and other forms of cheques or bank drafts are NOT ACCEPTED without prior agreement. We regret this inconvenience but such methods of payments are impossible to process without payment of a large processing fee. Credit Card debiting policy We would like to assure all our customers that credit card accounts will not be debited unless and until the order is ready to ship. There will be no charging pending arrival of stock. In the rare event that a billing error has occurred, please inform us immediately you are aware of the error and we will rectify the error as swiftly as possible. Credit card safety and Privacy Policy ThaiNetCity uses the latest technology to protect your credit card information and does not release it to any outside organization. You can place your orders using MSIE's or Netscape's SSL encryption (the Internet standard for secure transactions) or you can telephone or fax card information to us. Your credit card details are not ever transmitted over the internet without secure encryption. As reported in a recent Knight-Ridder News Service article (which appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer), "In 1997, there were no reports of credit-card information stolen on the World Wide Web during a transfer of information over a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) line, the kind of line used by Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Explorer. There were no slip-ups. None." Customers' information, including name, address, email address, telephone number, credit card details submitted to ThaiNetCity are not under any circumstance given out or sold to any one other than the relevant credit card processing bank. Customer's sensitive data are not stored on the internet. Unused customer's records are destroyed by incineration. Credit card verification We are required by our bank to obtain authorization on all credit cards regardless of order amount. PayPal policy Payment by PayPal is warmly welcomed. Verified address only please. When selecting PayPal as your payment option, you will need to fill in the order form which will ask you to fill in card number and expiry date. This is a software problem. Please put in any number, and any date, to complete the form, the data entered will be accepted by not used for anything, other than to allowing you to proceed with the order. Because the final amount of your order may need to be reduced due to shipping discount or other discounts, please wait for us to confirm your total by email before sending payment. Shipping Methods (one cd is a little over 100g. in weight) ALL SHIPPING PRICES QUOTED HERE ARE SUBJECTED TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. Economy air shipping We do not make Economy Air postal air mail shipping selectable as the cost savings is not great and the shipping time is slow. It is however available as an option on request. Express air (EMS) EMS is the Communication Authority of Thailand's courier service and takes 3 to 4 days for delivery. For large orders it can work out cheaper than standard air mail. Delivery within 1 month is GUARANTEED. In some instances we may substitute UPS as the carrier instead of EMS, which will usually result in faster delivery. Standard Air Parcel shipping USA is base $0.80 plus $2.30 per item. Standard Air Parcel shipping Europe is base $0.80 plus $1.80 per item takes 8-12 days. Air Parcel requires the nature and value of the shipment to be declared on the package, and requires that the package not be sealed with adhesives. Delivery time is 7 - 14 working days USA, 4- 7 days to Europe. Air letters do not require declaration of goods value or nature on the package. Shipping policy We aim to ship within one business day of receiving your order. Items not in stock can usually be obtained within 3 to 4 days. If items in your order are out of stock and likely to take a long time, we will email you to request instructions whether we should wait for the full order or ship partial order. If items in your order become totally out of print and unobtainable in the foreseeable future we will delete those items from your order. You are never charged for items not available to ship. Customs duties and taxes Import duties and/or taxes may be imposed by your country's government on shipments from outside your country. These charges are separate from ThaiNetCity's charges and are beyond our control or ability to predict. These charges (if any) are payable to your government. You are responsible for paying any taxes, duties and/or customs fees charged by your government. Please check with your local post office or customs office for more information.
